Please support Cycle for Survival 2015 & Donate to my ride!
Text100 is riding for Kelly.
We all have a story about how cancer has affected us personally – perhaps in more ways than one. The employees at Text100, a global integrated communications firm, were reminded of this fact when Kelly Knab, a New York “Textie” (as we like to call ourselves) and friend of mine, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer of the pancreas in September 2013.
Text100, like many organizations, has helped its employees face difficult life challenges in the past, and this time would be no different. So we are putting on those unflattering bike shorts and waking up early on a Saturday morning in March 2015 for Cycle for Survival to support Kelly, and we are raising the dollars so desperately needed to fight rare cancers like hers.
Here are two important facts you should know:
- 100% of every dollar you give will go directly to pioneering research within six months of the events.
- Cycle for Survival has contributed to more than 100 clinical trials and research studies, and also to major research initiatives that will change the way cancer is diagnosed and treated.
Why do we ride? It’s simple really - we want to find a cure for Kelly.
Please consider donating to my ride to support lifesaving research! You can find my fundraising page linked here.
Remember, every dollar helps Kelly and others fighting rare cancers around the world.
I’m a few weeks behind on new music, but I’m kind of obsessed with the new one from Hilary Duff ‘All About You’
I couldn’t agree with this more. and I know how guilty I am of snapping a photo of every single thing that I do or see - especially at concerts. I was a mere 15 feet from Justin Timberlake last winter and I decided to take a video on my phone rather than soak it in. how did I feel when I left the concert of a lifetime? basically like I just watched a bunch of YouTube videos of JT concert. is there some sort of rehab for this? and with the recent news that #HelloKitty is not a cat, my desk just got a little but weirder… (at Text100)
a bit too excited over my new #ellowaterbottle #glasswaterbottle #bpafree #hydrate
just tried a sample of Garnier balancing daily exfoliator - after one use my skin already feels cleaner and smoother. not sure how that’s possible since I have a pretty good thing going with my current nighttime skin regime (gentle cleanser, sonic silicon face brush and toner). the back of the sample says that after one use, the scrub removes excess oil. right now, my skin is feeling great and oil free so I’m looking forward to seeing what what I’m working with in the morning. no one likes an oily morning face. if it turns out we have a winner, I may be swapping out my current cleanser - or just adding one to the mix.

Freshening up my spring/summer accessory game with these little babies. We all know I do NOT need any more jewelry, but I could not resists scooping these up yesterday.
I’m in Naples for a few days visiting my grandparents, so after grabbing a little lunch at a cute grill at Coconut Point (insanely amazing mall - check it out if you’re in the area), we stopped by World Market - which is the BEST place ever to find anything and everything you most definitely need (and may not need). I stumbled upon the jewelry section and basically started picking these earrings off the rack as if they were apples on a tree. I also picked up some of my fave candies from London because, oh - they had those too. British sweets and fun jewelry? Can I live here?
One of my other favorite stores down here is the Best of Everything. It’s all accessories, purses, scarves, even some fun home goods (similar to Charming Charlie). Everything is sorted by color, style, costume jewelry, normal adult jewelry, obnoxious hair bows that I should not be considering and trying on - you name it, they have it. Every time my family comes down here, my mom, my Debbie (my step grandma that I prefer to call ‘my Debbie’) and I make sure to stop at this place and yesterday’s trip was definitely successful. I snagged two amazing neon statement necklaces and an oversized black and floral watch that I will most definitely be wearing as an accessory, not to tell the time :)
but I just love jewelry so much. cc: @worldmarket @bestofeverything_naples #jewelry #accessories #fashion
